Online Consultation - What to Expect
The initial visit (online or in office) is usually referred to as an ‘intake’ appointment. During this time the goal is to obtain a detailed picture of you as an individual. This includes your health concerns and goals, familial and environmental predispositions, habits, preferences and tendencies, as well as the more traditional medical history. It is important to get a total picture at this point, so set aside a little time to make some notes, and remember to carefully note all of the supplements, medications, and other remedies you are currently taking or have recently taken. Immediately following the initial visit a complete analysis is performed and research is done on all necessary components to develop your plan. Once prepared, your plan will be emailed to you as a pdf file.
The online initial intake is completed via forms and email. Please complete the Intake forms which will be sent via email as pdf file attachments. Relax, take your time, and complete these forms thoughtfully. Good communications are key to our teamwork in this process. The completed forms may be scanned and returned as emails, or mailed back. You may be contacted via email for additional information if necessary, before the analysis takes place.
After the information is complete, the analysis phase begins. At this time, a plan is prepared according to your goals, concerns and time frames. You will then receive this plan, with detailed suggestions and a schedule of follow up contacts. It is entirely your decision when, if and how to implement any of the suggestions. Please feel free to email any time with questions, concerns or details of responses. We can easily make changes to your plan depending on your feedback.
· I do NOT sell any products. Nor do I require that you purchase any particular brands. We can discuss the options, characteristics and strategies you may wish to use, and you may always contact me later with questions.
· Emails are always preferred over telephone calls – emails give you a chance to gather your thoughts at the time and place of your choosing. They allow me to carefully consider your questions and comments, do any research necessary, and respond thoughtfully.
The most essential part of homeopathic and naturopathic treatment is ongoing communication. As you heal, changes will occur that will require modification of your plan. Also, life happens along the way, and if you have a travel illness, cold, accident, or a life changing situation that affects your emotional status, these will affect your healing plan and may call for temporary adjustments or changes to approach and/or recommended modalities of healing.
1 Month of free email follow ups is included with your intake fee.
Ongoing email support is offered on a prepaid plan for 6 or 12 months.
You are always encouraged to visit (online or in office) periodically to ensure health maintenance and focus on health, wellness and disease prevention.
Email communications are preferred. By using email full attention may be given to you and your situation without rushing or distraction, and time may be given to properly research any questions or concerns you may have. Telephone consultations may be arranged when necessary. Sessions lasting longer than ten minutes will be billed at the regular hourly rate.
Payment is due prior to analysis and plan preparation for Online clients.
Cancellation prior to analysis and plan preparation is without fee. Any cancellation after analysis and plan preparation (and prior to any follow up emails) may receive 30% refund of prepaid fee.
